Dr. Darshan Patel
Dr. Darshan Patel is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through personalized, high-quality dental care. As the owner of Austin Dental Care, his mission is simple: to treat every patient with compassion, genuine care, and the time they deserve while delivering dentistry that is built to last.
Originally from Ohio, Dr. Patel earned both his undergraduate degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) with Honors from The Ohio State University. A lifelong Buckeye fan, he proudly carries the Midwestern values of integrity, hard work, and treating others like family into every patient interaction. After graduation, he practiced in the Dallas area before making Austin home, where he is excited to serve the community and continue building lasting relationships with his patients.
Committed to staying at the forefront of dentistry, Dr. Patel has completed the Implant Pathway Advanced Dental Implant Continuum, providing advanced training in dental implant placement and restoration. He is also Invisalign® Certified and has a special interest in digital dentistry, smile makeovers, and comprehensive treatment planning. By combining the latest technology with a meticulous attention to detail, he strives to create beautiful, functional, and long-lasting results while making every visit as comfortable as possible.
Dr. Patel believes that exceptional dentistry is about much more than treating teeth. He takes the time to truly listen, educate, and partner with each patient so they feel informed and confident in their treatment decisions. Whether someone is visiting for a routine cleaning, replacing missing teeth with implants, enhancing their smile, or undergoing a complete smile transformation, his goal is for every patient to leave feeling cared for—not rushed—and confident they received honest recommendations and exceptional treatment.
Dr. Patel is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association, reflecting his commitment to lifelong learning and providing the highest standard of care.
Outside the office, you'll likely find Dr. Patel on the golf course, staying active, traveling with his wife Dr. Sejal, cheering on Ohio State football, or spending time with family and friends. As new Austin residents, Dr. Patel and his wife are excited to become even more involved in the local community and are thrilled to be expecting their first child.
