Kristie: Office Coordinator
Kristie has been a member of the Austin Dental Care team from Day 1 (and happily married to Dr. Wainwright for even longer!)
As the Office Coordinator (& resident mama bear), she loves taking care of our team and interacting with our patients on a daily basis. Although Kristie is a native Texan, she attended the University of Kansas and has been an avid Jayhawk fan ever since. However, with a daughter (& hopefully soon to be son) at the University of Oklahoma, the Sooners have become a new favorite, especially during football season! She and Dr. Wainwright have enjoyed all that Austin has to offer for over 25 years, including raising two awesome kids in the Eanes school district, and faithfully cheering for the Chaps on Friday nights!
Joan: Dental Assistant
Joan grew up in the small town of Yoakum, Texas and moved to Austin in 2001 to pursue her career in dentistry. She has been in dentistry over 23 years and has loved being able to help people over the years with all of their dental needs and achieve their goals of changing their smiles.
Nineteen years ago, she married her High School Sweetheart, Robert. They have three beautiful children: Katelyn, who is a sophomore at the University of Texas; Robert, who is a Senior in High School; and Jack, who is in second grade. They also love spending time with their golden retriever, Ben!
Joan and her family are always on the go with their children’s activities and in their free time you can find them on the baseball field!
Jessica: Dental Assistant
Jessica has been in Austin for 24 years and has been practicing dentistry for over 18 years! She loves having the ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease during their visits. In her free time, you can find Jessica trying out new restaurants around Austin, traveling, and hiking the Greenbelt or Town Lake trail with her yellow lab, Lola Marie.
Jenna: Dental Hygienist
Jenna just recently moved here from Connecticut. She had lived there my whole life and decided she wanted a new adventure. Jenna has been a dental hygienist for over 8 years and has worked in the dental field for 14! Jenna loves making special connections with her patients and helping them excel in their home care techniques. In her free time, she loves exploring and adventuring with Winston, her 2year old Golden Retriever. She loves being outdoors whether it be to hike, paddleboard, swim, ski, snowboard, or just relaxing with friends & family.
Hailey: Dental Hygienist
Hailey grew up in the small rural town of Lexington, Texas. After graduation she left home to pursue her passion. She graduated from Coastal Bend College in 2010 with her associates degree in dental hygiene, becoming a registered dental hygienist. After working in the field for a short time, she knew she wanted to excel in the field and decided to further her education by receiving her Bachelor’s degree from Texas Women’s University in 2014. Hailey has a profound ability to connect with her patients in order to give them the best possible care. She has a gentle touch and a bold personality.
After having her first child, Hailey decided to move back home to Lexington to raise her family. Hailey has three children who are her world. Her life revolves around their sports and extracurricular activities. In her free time, she loves spending time with her friends and family and traveling the world. She’s always up for a new adventure.
Lauren: Hygiene Coordinator
Lauren was born and raised right here in Austin. When she’s not spending time with her 4 kids and their very busy schedules, she enjoys true crime podcasts and documentaries. She has been in the dental field for the better part of a decade.
Lauren loves getting to know her patients and prides herself on remarkable customer service.
Kelly: Treatment Coordinator
Kelly moved to Austin about two years ago and absolutely loves it here. She is originally from Chicago and much prefers the heat to the cold. In her free time, you can find her on Town Lake on a paddleboard, hiking, adventuring with friends, and spending time with her two fur (cat) babies.
What she loves most about working in this profession is the long-lasting relationships she builds with patients and being able to serve her wonderful community.
