Covid-19 Policies
The dental team at Austin Dental Care has always been committed to the health and safety of our patients when they visit us for dental care. We follow all recommended OSHA, ADA, and CDC guidelines for infection control in our office at all times. In response to the recent COVID-19 pandemic we have made changes to our office procedures and infection control protocols to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. We want to ensure that all patients feel safe, protected, and enjoy the high standard of dental care they expect from Dr. Wainwright and our team.
We ask that if you are sick or have been exposed to the coronavirus that you call our office to reschedule your appointment. If you have recently traveled, please wait at least 14 days after returning to visit our office. These rules will remain in place until it is no longer a recommendation of the CDC or any local governing bodies and are designed to protect all patients and staff.
COVID-19 INFECTION CONTROL: WHAT TO EXPECT
Our office will be implementing changes in your check-in, our treatments, and the overall office setup to accommodate more stringent and ongoing decontamination and sanitation throughout the day and to minimize contact.
We will be wearing appropriate PPE at all times.
Aerosol reducing technology will be used for your treatment as needed. There will be appropriate screens and barriers to avoid contact and the spread of germs. In addition, we will be conducting a brief health screening and taking your temperature with a digital thermometer when you arrive for your appointment. We ask that you wear a mask and use hand sanitizer when entering the office.
QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS?
